Really the first red oakleaf Hydrangea, a breakthrough color. Developed at the National Arboretum in Washington, DC, the robust cone blossoms emerge white, quickly turn pink, and mature to ruby red. Deep green oak-like leaves turn brilliant shades of mahogany-red in the fall.
