Commonly called white evening primrose, Oenothera speciosa has fragrant, bowl-shaped white flowers with yellow anthers that bloom in spring. Petals often mature to rosy pink which explains the additional common names of pink evening primrose and pink ladies. Flowers open in the evening and remain open until late morning, or all day if it’s overcast.
